DPM-2550 B – Digital Selective Remote Microphone Unit

The Digital-Selective-Remote-Microphone-Unit DPM-2550 B is a microcontroller-supported fully digital microphone station with bidirectional digital transmission of data signal. The function assignment of all memory keys of the call station is freely programmable including numeric keypad function.

Monitoring according to EN54-16 can be activated with the software license. There are 8 function keys, a 12-key keypad block for individual or group calls,one covered alarm button and a large, user-friendly talk button are available.

The “+” and “–” function keys can be used to change the sound carrier volume, the sensitivity of the sound carrier input, the microphone volume and the characteristics of the compressor and gate functions. The illuminated graphic display shows the selected areas in plain text.

The DPM-2550 B features high-performance A/D and D/A converters with 128x oversampling for pristine reproduction of speech and music. The input and output channel gain is from 0 to 59.9 dB and 0 to 63.5 dB adjustable in 0.5 dB increments.
A compressor/gate function (individually adjustable), as well as automatic volume adjustment of the microphone input using automatic gain control (AGC) to ensure maximum intelligibility of the announcements of the different speakers is an built-in feature. On top of that, there is a possibility to connect an external sound carrier device to the built-in stereo cinch sockets as an option. Up to 10 DPM-2551 A digital remote microphone extension modules or up to 5 DPM-2552 A digital remote microphone extension modules can be attached to a DPM-2550 B.
