DMS-2042 A – Digital Sound-Level Measurement-Outdoor Unit

The DMS-2042 A module from the PADES-2000 DMS module series is used to measure external noise sources of a sound reinforcement area which can then be used as a reference for a volume increase.
One sound reinforcement area can be recorded per DMS-2042 A:
– Detection of the background noise of a sound reinforcement area.
– Redundant microphones for increased safety
– Use as a line terminal or as an intermediate line module
– Reliable communication via RS485 bus
– Switchable terminating resistor (for line terminal)
– Strain relief and shield connection via clamping bracket
– Waterproof cable entry with M-screw connection (1 x for line terminal unit, 2 x for intermediate line module)
– Usable connection cables: CAT7 or fire alarm cable 2x2x0.8 or 4x2x0.8.
– IP-protected housing for outdoor mounting (IP66)
