Shopping malls and retail stores aim to create immersive customer experiences to attract and retain visitors. One of the best indicators of customer experience in a mall is the audio-visual experience. Therefore, it is important for mall operators to choose the right type of Hi-Fi loudspeakers, amplifiers, and controllers without compromising the voice alarm quality of speech in any emergency scenario.

It is highly recommended to have a combined PAVA/BGM system for all common areas in the mall using the same loudspeakers and headend equipment. A sound reinforcement system is operated independently for live events.

There are two schools of thought on the installation of PAVA and BGM systems – whether to combine them or operate them independently.
